Product Introduction
The bogie type furnace is a national standard energy-saving periodic operation furnace. It adopts composite fiber insulation material and automatic sealing technology, has an ultra-energy-saving structure and does not require foundation installation.


Working principle
The bogie type furnace is a periodic operation furnace with no zoned furnace chamber. Structure: The furnace bottom is a movable bogie. Before heating, the bogie is loaded with material outside the furnace, and the workpieces to be heated are placed on special support blocks. Then, a traction mechanism pulls the bogie into the furnace for heating. After heating, the traction mechanism pulls the bogie out of the furnace to unload the material. Afterwards, or a crane is used to lift the heated workpieces onto forging equipment for processing.

Product Structure
1. Furnace Frame and Shell: The structure of the furnace frame and shell of a bogie furnace is basically the same as that of a box-type resistance furnace. However, since the bogie needs to be towed out, and there is no lower crossbeam at the front of the bogie furnace, the furnace frame is prone to deformation. Therefore, the furnace frame should be firmly fixed to the foundation.
The furnace panel should be offset from the furnace opening bricks, i.e., the furnace opening bricks protrude and have sufficient brick thickness to reduce heat deformation of the furnace panel. Larger and longer expansion joints should also be made at the edges of the furnace opening on the furnace panel.
2. Furnace Body: The furnace lining of a bogie furnace is basically the same as that of a box-type resistance furnace. Since the bogie does not contact the furnace lining, a refractory fiber structure is more suitable for the furnace lining.
3. Furnace Opening Device: The furnace opening device of a small bogie furnace is similar to that of a general resistance furnace. Large bogie furnaces have a larger width, and the furnace door must have sufficient rigidity. The inner lining of the furnace door is mostly constructed with refractory fiber.
4. Bogie and Travel Drive Device: The steel frame of the bogie should be determined based on load calculations. The drive device is mostly installed at the front of the bogie, driving the bogie to move. The traveling mechanism is mostly wheeled, with either sealed bearing or semi-open bearing structures. The latter is more commonly used because the former makes wheel axle lubrication difficult.
5. Sealing Device Between the Cart and Furnace Body: The conventional sealing method between the car and furnace body is a sand seal.
6. Energizing Device for Cart Heating Elements: In single-cart furnaces, the heating elements are generally energized via contacts. The rear of the car has 3-6 fixed contacts, and the lower part of the furnace body has 3-6 spring-loaded contacts. After the car enters the furnace, the contacts can easily insert into the contacts. In double-cart furnaces, inserts are generally installed on the lower front sides of both car sides, and contacts are installed on the lower front side of the furnace body. After the car enters the furnace, the inserts contact with the contacts to energize the furnace.
