Product Introduction

Thermal oil ovens are industrial drying ovens heated by electricity, coal or other fuels, with temperature regulated through a thermal oil circulation system. The equipment consists of a heating cabinet, heat exchanger and thermal oil pump. The pump circulates heated thermal oil into the oven chamber; after heat exchange with air via the heat exchanger, the oil flows back to the heating cabinet for repeated circulation.

There are two heating modes: electric heating and fuel heating. Electric heating features simple operation and low cost, suitable for small-scale production. Fuel heating is mostly adopted for large-scale production applications.

Working principle

A thermal oil pump delivers heated thermal oil from the heating cabinet through pipelines to the heat exchanger inside the thermal oil oven. High-temperature thermal oil circulates inside the heat exchanger and exchanges heat with air in the oven to achieve heating. After cooling down, the oil flows back to the heating cabinet via return pipelines for reheating, forming a continuous circulation loop.

Features

High thermal efficiency

Thermal oil boasts large specific heat capacity and fast heat transfer speed, which shortens heating time.

Uniform temperature distribution

The circulation system eliminates local temperature differences to ensure consistent heating of workpieces.

Excellent energy-saving performance

The thermal insulation layer reduces heat loss and cuts energy consumption costs during long-term operation.

Applications

When segmented by application scenarios, thermal oil ovens used in the chemical industry are usually equipped with explosion-proof structures to avoid flammable and explosive hazards caused by hot oil leakage. For food processing applications, the thermal oil must pass food-grade certification to guarantee safety when contacting raw materials. The pharmaceutical industry imposes stricter cleanliness standards; the inner walls of such equipment are generally made of mirror-finished stainless steel to reduce microbial adhesion.
