The double cone rotary vacuum dryer is an intermittent drying device. It utilizes a rotating double-cone cylinder and a vacuum environment, employing indirect heating technology to rapidly dry materials. It is particularly suitable for heat-sensitive, easily oxidized, toxic, or solvent-recoverable materials.
Working principle
Heating and Heat Transfer: The heat transfer medium (steam/heat transfer oil) circulates within the jacket, and heating is achieved through conduction within the tank.
Material Movement: The rotation speed is adjustable from 2-8 rpm, creating a continuous "waterfall flow" of material within the cone, achieving a mixing uniformity CV value of less than 5%.
Vacuum Exhaust: Maintaining a working vacuum of 0.08 to -0.09 MPa, the moisture evaporation rate is 3-5 times faster than atmospheric pressure drying.
Moisture Migration: Driven by a pressure gradient, the material moisture content can be reduced from 30% to 0.5% without damaging heat-sensitive components.
