Double Cone Vacuum Dryer

The double cone vacuum dryer is a high-efficiency horizontal rotary cone drying equipment that integrates drying, vacuum decompression, and powder mixing.

The double-cone vacuum dryer consists of a double-cone rotating tank. Under vacuum conditions, steam or hot water is introduced into the jacket for heating, and the heat comes into contact with the wet material through the inner wall of the tank. The water vapor evaporated from the wet material after absorbing heat is removed by a vacuum pump through the vacuum exhaust pipe. Because the tank is under vacuum, and the rotation of the tank causes the material to continuously move up and down and inside and out, the drying speed is accelerated, drying efficiency is improved, and uniform drying is achieved.

The drying process is relatively fast, typically taking between several seconds and tens of seconds. The droplet temperature is low during drying, making it suitable for heat-sensitive materials and helping to maintain their original quality. The device has a specific structure to prevent sticking to the drying tower walls. Its finished product air conveying system separates the dried product from the hot, humid air within the system, reducing the possibility of moisture absorption or agglomeration. Under vacuum conditions, the boiling point of the material solution decreases, increasing the heat transfer driving force of the evaporator. Evaporation can use low-pressure steam or waste heat steam as a heat source with minimal heat loss. The device can be sterilized before drying, and the drying process prevents the introduction of foreign impurities, meeting GMP requirements. The condenser equipped with the device can be used to recover solvents from the material.
